Specialist Manual Physiotherapist MSc PT
Soha Bou-Yabes is a specialist physiotherapist who has been practicing physiotherapy in Ministry of health MOH since she was qualified from Kuwait University in 1988. She was introduced to Problems solving approach during her orthopedic residency program in Dalhousie university /Canada in 1997. She was a member in the scientific committee of physiotherapy in MOH as well as an active clinical instructor in the national training program for physiotherapists for four years. In 2003 she completed a post graduate diploma in exercise for women from the University of Melbourne/Australia. She also gained a post graduate diploma in Manual Therapy from Curtin University in 2005. Then she has gone successfully to gain her master degree in Manual/Orthopedic therapy from Curtin University in 2007. She joined the private sector in 2009 as the head of physiotherapy department in the Canadian medical center, then to be chief of rehabilitation department in Al-Salam International Hospital from 2010 till 2015 where she was teaming up with national & visiting orthopedic surgeons & led the rehabilitation team during the Accreditation Canada. Currently she is the founder & Manager of Physio4U rehabilitation center. Soha Bou-Yabes is a pioneer physiotherapists specialized in manual therapy in Kuwait. With a great passion to the profession she devoted a lot of her time to health promotion in the community through newspapers, television & lecturing in schools as well as hospitals. She believes & support continues professional development process.
